Norm Langer appeared on the KTLA Channel 5 Morning News on Thursday, June 2, 2011, as part of KTLA's kickoff of their Top Deli competition. Norm talked about deli food, Langer's in particular, and showed off a variety of delicious sandwiches from our menu. Take a look:
Previous to Norm's segment, Chief Charlie Beck of the Los Angeles Police Department, a longtime friend of Langer's and the former captain of Rampart Division (where Langer's is located at 7th and Alvarado), made his monthly appearance to discuss police matters with the KTLA team. During his segment, he mentioned his personal preference in deli fare. Here's Chief Beck:
