The Langer Story
The story of Langer's Delicatessen-Restaurant evokes classic American dream, with humble beginnings in 1947 at a 12-stool lunch counter founded by Al and Jean Langer. More than 60 years later, Langer's has become a local and international icon, famed for its legendary hot pastrami, friendly staff and expert service. It is operated today by Al and Jean's son, Norm, his wife Jeannette, and their daughter Trisha, at the same location (though much larger than the original tiny deli).
