This slightly overhead view of a classic #19 at Langer’s Deli gives us a good opportunity to discuss our double-baked rye bread. If you’ve had it – you know. If not, it’s very simple: warm bread, fresh from the oven, where it has been re-baked after being delivered from our bakery about 70-80% complete. This gives us a cripsy crust that you will simply not find anywhere, with flavor that many agree is the best rye you’ll find anywhere.
