Langer’s 65th Anniversary Celebration
On June 15-16, 2012, Langer’s Delicatessen-Restaurant held a huge celebration in honor of our 65th anniversary serving the world’s best pastrami to Los Angeles and the world.
Our event featured a complete shutdown of 7th Street between Alvarado and Westlake to accommodate the huge crowds and entertainment that gathered for the event.
We were privileged to enjoy live appearances by key radio personalities from ESPN LA 710AM, the station on which Langer’s advertised. In addition, the mobile command unit for the Rampart Division of the Los Angeles Police Department was on display with several officers on hand to meet and greet the visiting public.
But the biggest feature of the event was undoubtedly the free #19 sandwiches we gave to all who helped us celebrate. Over the course of the two-day event, Langer’s served thousands of our friends and valued customers. Local media from every major television channel and radio station also attended, providing us with incredible coverage.
The Langer family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who attended, helped, participated, and supported Langer’s Delicatessen-Restaurant for the past 65 years.
